In my first trimester I felt bloated and very tired, and a bit listless...no nausea or anything else but boobies and the rest of me felt swollen and "ripe" for want of a better word...Now, I feel fabulous...heaps of energy, I feel smaller and tighter in my body, I haven not suffered from any moodswings before but thought maybe some of that would come but rather than being irrational and irritable I am calm, patient and just feeling like I could do just about anything, and achieve anything...Is this normal or shall I start worrying that I might be misscarrying or something? Boobies not even feeling particulary sore any longer, although I they are larger than normal still and I do have a tiny bump..but I was fatter and more bloated two weeks back? I have felt a twinge on the side of belly almost like a stitch? Normal or shall I panic...?? any advice appreciated...Confused

Normal. Every pregnancy symptom disappeared when I was about twelve weeks pregnant, both times. The second trimester is absolutely the best from POV of your physical comfort, although it seems so long to go for me it was the worst at the time!

THANK YOU!!!! Grin I just keep on reading about horrible moodswings, night sweats, etc etc...and thought crikey i must be a complete freak...I just feel so serene yet energetic and like I could take on just about anything...nothing can worry me or seem to upset me, which is rather unusual for me...phew..i have been a tad confused and the last few days I must admit Smile

Show off...

It probably won't last. Have a gander at the pregnancy calendar section on mn it will probably reassure you. Or buy the book! (commission please HQ)

Londonmrss- didnt mean to, just wondered if it was normal, thats all...then again I have never suffered from PMT or any other hormonal induced mood swings or problems so maybe it is normal that I all of a sudden wouldnt start feling them now... Cubbfuddles -I am sure as I get bigger things will change but at the moment starting my PGCE course this week, and horses, alpackas, dogs etc to look after at home I am pretty pleased if this feeling last for as long as possible...Wink will have a look at the calendar..pronto..

Hello, I am 14+2 today and feel exactly the same. I haven't had any sickness throughout and have alwas been concerned that eveything is ok, but since my scan I have relaxed a bit and have decided to make the most of it as I am sure it won't last! Enjoy. x

I'm 14 weeks and feel the same. Although I got my come-uppance when I didn't heed the trainer's instructions to get up very very slowly after pilates in case I felt faint. I jumped up, and nearly passed out Grin

I think you should embrace it! Sadly most books and anything else you read about pregnancy tend to focus on the negative things, so much so that you gear yourself up to feel completely crappy when in fact for plenty of women this isn't the case. And lots of ladies feel bad about saying anything knowing that others are not as lucky, and will possibly feel resentment towards them, that's probably why you don't see much about it. So don't worry about anything, it's completely normal- enjoy it Smile

You lucky so and so!

Definitely enjoy it :)

I also felt incredible at 14 weeks and still feel pretty normal at 27 weeks so don't worry, just try and enjoy it!:)

I had the same - at 12 weeks my nausea and fatigue suddenly disappeared. I could also face coffee again. I felt pretty good until about 30 weeks when the back pain started!
