Can I dye my hair?

A google search shows a 50:50 yes/no split!

I am 7 + 3, does anyone know if I am okay to dye my hair?

I always thought that it's fine to dye your hair as long as your scalp is in good condition, but personally I would avoid doing it in the first trimester (I'm sure I read that somewhere but I can't remember where).

I'm sure someone who knows a bit more will be along shortly.

Yes. Both my hair dresser and the Mumsnet pregnancy book say fine.

My hair dresser said if you're really worried have high or low lights, as the dye doesn't sit on your scalp then so even if it was toxic, it couldn't get to the baby.

Of course you can. If dye seeped through your head and into your bloodstream, that would be bad for you pregnant or not. But since it doesn, you're fine.
