Is this the start of kicks?

I am 19 weeks 6 days.

I was woken this morning with what felt like my heart in my tummy beating really quick, almost like when panicking yet I wasn't panicky so the only explanation I can think of it was baby starting to kick me.

Anyone enlighten me? (yes it is my 1st pregnancy)

Baby kicks aren't usually as regular or sustained as a heart beat, it's more like feeling the odd nudge here and there.

Mine were like a bubbling sensation, so probably not unlike what you are describing. Had that on and off (more off really) from 17 weeks to 21, when the first "proper" kicks started.

Hi, I first noticed mine the day I was 19 weeks, they were quite light - a bit like flicks from the inside and no pattern to Tom as t depended on where bubs was and how s/he was lying with still being so mll and having plenty of room to move.
Now, 23+6, they're much more prominent -not painful, just more like kicks and prods than flicks.

I got told to expect anything from the flicks I felt through to bubbles (like wind), or feeling like tummy was turning, butterflies. Generally any number of sensations.

I found that as the feelings increased in frequency I could look back to times I was uncertain whether it was bubs or not and think 'yeah, it was'

I know I was defo on kick watch from 18 weeks, willing myself to feel something. In fact, I'm finding that he whole regnancy is like a waiting game - waiting for all the milestones. Lol, x

I have the heart beating in my tummy thing too! Keep wondering if this is the fluttering that people talk about.

Am clueless, first baby so probably it's nothing!!

Mine feel like muscle twitches, but in my uterus. I also get the heartbeat thing - remember there's a huge amount of blood flowing through there with the placenta!

Heartbeat type feeling is blood flowing through your placenta (I've been told).

My first feeling were quite proddy!
