I want Jacob's sweet chili Thai Bites (discontinued)and a huge Easter egg.

:(

When I was pg with DS DH had to physically restrain me from storming out of the house and going camping. At 32 weeks pg. In December. In 2ft of snow.

OMG I loved those thai bites!! I'm gutted they discontinued them too!

lol@the camping! Not the best time of year to go but then again, it's not much better in the summer either!

I've not had any cravings apart from getting tipsy and dancing all night (which is more about letting myself go and dancing like a freak than the actual alcohol!)

ThreeWheelsGood · 29/08/2012 23:00

Cadbury's mint crisp Dairy Milk. At least I think it has been discontinued. Making do with supermarket own brand matchmakers!

I'm craving blue strong cheese some yummy aged stilton would go down a treat but cant due to being pregnant grrr.

LondonMidlandScotland · 30/08/2012 05:48

Stilton is safe as it's a hard blue cheese- it's soft blue cheeses like Gorgonzola that you can't have. I checked it on Nhs and have been enjoying Stilton ever since. Can't link tho as on phone.

I've been craving liver and bacon casserole for this entire pregnancy! Have some in the freezer ready for DH to cook up after D day!!

I went in thorntons last week and they were selling bags of broken Easter egg bits if that's any help.

FreeButtonBee · 30/08/2012 07:39

I saw mint crisp in TEsco this week - but it was the Irish version so not sure it will be authentic enough for a PG woman. It was in the "World Foods" section with other Irish food products. I was delighted to get a can of Club Rock Shandy and some Mikado biscuits.

I had a dream where Mars had made little chocolate eggs (like tiny cadbury creme eggs) which were solid Galaxy chocolate with a single hazelnut in the middle. I really really wanted some, but they don't exist, sob :(

FreeButtonBee · 30/08/2012 10:48

Oh Fluffy - I'd call that a nightmare, not a dream!

Spice17 · 30/08/2012 12:35

Poundland were selling Thai bites not long ago if that helps?

Loislane78 · 30/08/2012 13:18

fluffy you should write to product development about your dream as I' buy packets of whatever your invention is! Grin

l3mma · 30/08/2012 13:21

LondonMidlandScotland - can you link me to where it is safe to have stilton please? x

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 30/08/2012 13:26

l3mma this is directly from the NHS Choice website:

Don't eat mould-ripened soft cheese, such as brie, camembert and chevre (a type of goats' cheese) and others with a similar rind. You should also avoid soft blue-veined cheeses such as Danish blue or gorgonzola. These are made with mould and they can contain listeria, a type of bacteria that can harm your unborn baby. Although infection with listeria (listeriosis) is rare, it is important to take special precautions in pregnancy because even a mild form of the illness in a pregnant woman can lead to miscarriage, stillbirth or severe illness in a newborn baby.

You can eat hard cheeses such as cheddar, parmesan and stilton, even if they're made with unpasteurised milk. Hard cheeses don't contain as much water as soft cheeses so bacteria are less likely to grow in them. Many other types of cheese are OK to eat, but make sure they're made from pasteurised milk. This includes cottage cheese, mozzarella, feta, cream cheese, paneer, ricotta, halloumi, goats' cheese and processed cheeses such as cheese spreads.

Link here.

Off to Poundland this afternoon methinks! I will buy the lot if they have any and possibly cry with gratitude...
