Did you have any bleeding if you got pregnant whilst on he pill? I have been on Cilest for years and always had he same sort of period on it. 4 days of medium flow, a day or do at the end of just coloured discharge really.

Last period was very light, only lasted 3 days as well. I put 2 packs together then to skip a period while abroad on holiday and period was due this week. Well its even lighter this time. No actual blood, just darkish discharge. I don't even really need a pad! Just 2 days or so.

We have completed our family and I am nearly 40. I missed 1 pill during last couple of months and took it and the next one together. The instructions say it will be highly unlikely to get pregnant missing only one in the month.

BUT.... A couple of months ago I was put on some anti inflammatory painkillers for back ache and they kept upsetting my stomach so had to come off them. (diarrhoea but no vomiting) The gp didn't tell me the tablets could affect the absorption of the pill when she prescribed them, I only found that out myself when I looked at the patient information leaflet about the diarrhoea.

I am now a bit worried I might be pregnant although no other symptoms. Although stomach looks a bit bigger - looks like its wobbly fat though rather than being swollen! I am too scared to POAS and feel like a teenager. Blush

Seriously, how likely is it that I might be pregnant?

DS1 was conceived whilst I was on the pill, I had antibiotics prescribed and at 21 didn't know this would affect my pill. I had my normal period (although with hindsight, and this was 13 years ago, they were a little lighter) for 2 months before other symptoms made me do a pregnancy test.

Why not do a test - it will either put your mind at rest or you will know for sure!

Oh dear. So it IS possible to bleed a little bit rather than miss a period altogether? I am due to start another pack on Friday so I guess I do need to do a test yomorrow. Just so scared. :-(
