Hiya,
I'm 39 weeks pregnant and wanted to know your early labour signs...
Thanks in advance.

Ds1 I just couldn't get comfortable the day before it kicked off but at the time I put it down to being 40 weeks Grin I had a show about midnight, went to bed and woke up at 8am with contractions.

Ds2 no signs at all. I had a complete wave of calm and had a relaxing day in the garden, even falling asleep in the garden. It started that evening. I was 12 days over.

Ds3-I'm still pg!

No gush of water or anything dramatic.

Good luck

Thanks for your posts ladies, I'm really not sure tbh. This is my first so honestly haven't got a clue. I'm getting pressure down below, awful back pains, tummy cramps lasting about 1min a time, every 10/15 mins atm. Had loose BM for 2days :s (sorry tmi) stabbing pains into my cervix and just feel shitty. But waters haven't gone, and I haven't had a visable 'show' xx

May just be bh
Early contractions shouldn't be lasting a minute
Get some rest and see how you are in the morning
It's exciting and nerve wracking at the same time being in labour. Let us know how you get on. X

Razzle i feel EXACTLY the same, right down to the very loose bowel movements the past two days. How strange? Wondering if it will lead to anything myself. Im 37 weeks! Keep us posted if anything progresses please:)

And both times my waters were broken in hospital and I didn't have a show with ds2. (or I did but I must have been in full throttle labour and not noticed)

I'm going to have a hot bath and go to bed and see how I go. I will keep you all update, ill post in the morning. Thanks for all your help, experiences and overall interest. :) D.x

You might just be in the latent phase (the very early pre-labour bit). Good info here.
