Brown discharge in very early pregnancy

I had a missed miscarriage and a d&c nearly 7 weeks ago, i have not had a period and found out this morning that im pregnant but i dont know how far gone i am, iv been to the docs and had a blood test today and when i got back i saw some brown discharge in my underwear.....obviously im scared stiff as this never happened last time, any advice or similar experiences?

I had this at 6 weeks. I was sent for a scan by the doctor as didn't have a midwife at that time and saw heartbeat and that everything was fine. I'm now 28 weeks. It lasted for about 10 days and then stopped until I was about 20 weeks, but that only lasted a day or two. I was told that it could be implantation bleeding that happened at wk 2 but took a long time to come out. Good luck and talk to your doctor when you can.

It may be implantation bleeding or it may be the beginning of another m/c. The bloods will help to indicate which but otherwise I guess you can monitor how much there is, if it's implantation bleeding it's like a very light period and there may be a small amount of red blood. As you know, an m/c will get heavier.

I'm afraid it's mostly a waiting game, be gentle with yourself in the meantime, I know it's very worrying.

I had this too, days after I found out at 4 weeks. It was all fine and he's sat next to me climbing all over me!! It lasted about 3 days for me and was very light. It is a waiting game I guess but it is quite common. please try to relax and I have everything crossed for you. Xxx
