Currently 4.5 weeks - so very early but don't feel any different so does not seem real!

12 week scan I think. Despite the fact I had had tons of nausea before that, I got so used to it and I didn't look pregnant, that I just started thinking that feeling sick all morning was normal. But seeing that scan screen made the difference.

(I'd had an 8 week scan too but that just looked like a prawn!)

Congrats on your pregnancy btw Smile

I still don't. I'm 8+4 and have had two early scans showing heartbeat, but it doesn't really feel real yet.

I think the 12 weeks scan will help, being able to tell people, and starting to show because then I'll have a physical reminder more than just feeling a bit bloated!

It's starting to sink in for me at 16 weeks, but I'm feeling loads better now so I've started worrying again - Who would think you might actually miss morning sickness :S

I feel pregnant but I keep thinking that I will really feel pregnant when I start to feel movements, right now most days I just feel fat!

It's a funny thing - in the early days I was desperate to look/feel pregnant. But now I'm 35 weeks and feel like a whale and waddle everywhere, I miss those days where I could still wear my normal clothes and walk like a normal human being Grin

When the baby started moving - it suddenly became v real. I found the first scan quite surreal - the baby was doing cartwheels and I couldn't feel a thing. I knew I was pregnant but I didn't feel pregnant

mylittlemonkey · 29/08/2012 14:36

When I the nausea started at about 5.5 weeks. When that finished and started to feel better at around 14 weeks it was when I first felt a small movement this morning and realised my little baby was moving around in there!

CityDweller · 29/08/2012 14:50

If you mean physically feel, 6.5 weeks - when I went from feeling absolutely normal to crapping my guts out (sorry!) for five days, overwhelming food aversions, nausea and extreme tiredness. Now (at 9.5) that's abated somewhat, I now just feel bloated and tired and the nausea comes and go in an irritatingly unpredictable way. And I have a bit of a tummy where it used to be flat (and even if I suck it in with all my might, I still have a hard little round belly).

If you mean mentally. Still not yet. I somehow doubt I will until it actually arrives.

I don't think I really felt pregnant until I started to feel movements at ~18 weeks. I knew I was definetely pregnant after the 12 week scan, but it didn't really seem real until I could feel it.

milkyjo · 29/08/2012 15:42

With my first I felt pregnant immediately and was really excited. With this one I don't feel pregnant at all even though I have all the crap symptoms. I think once I feel a bit better I will feel a bit more excited, I am 11+4 and having scan tomorrow. With first I had two scans at EPU before 12 week one. This time I feel really daunted about having scan, and just feel bad for not being more excited. It will probably only become real when I feel baby moving.

Many congrats on your news!

I would say if you don't feel pregant yet then make the most of it! I was desperate to start feeling pregnant as soon as I knew. Now 7 weeks and exhausted at random times, terrible morning sickness (in the evenings) and weird aversions to smells (DH has to feed the dog because the meat makes me ill).

Everyone is so different, nothing "normal" and so there is nothing to worry about. I expect you'll get to "enjoy" morning sickness soon enough but I hope it won't be too bad for you Smile

About 3 days after the positive test the nausea and intensely sore boobs set in. I took the test the day AF was due and remember saying to my mum, how great I felt and how I hoped I would escape the nausea etc. sadly not Grin

MyDaydream · 29/08/2012 16:33

I don't think being pregnant and the thought I'm going to have a baby soon didn't fully sink in until my 20 week scan when I'd been feeling movements for a while and found out the sex. Before that it didn't seem real.
