Alternative name for a Baby Shower

My sister is organising a "Baby Shower" for me and wants me to give her a list of friends who want to come.

I don't like the term Baby Shower as it has connotations of an Americanised tacky event that people feel obliged to bring gifts to. So I'd like to call it something different.

Has anyone come up with a UK name yet - or can anyone think of one - that would be more fitting for a friendly get together where presents are not a must??

Mine was called a preggers party!

Where will the party be? Can it just be an ordinary "At Home" invitation, with a handwritten addition that you are the honouree?

Not sure where it will be yet - I have 12 family coming and 5 friends so far, plus about 10 more people who I would like to invite so if they all say yes, I'm not sure if they'll all fit in my house!
