I have a weirs niggling feeling I'm going to go early . I'm 30+4 and keep getting panicky about being organised and I already feel I want to get my hospital bag packed I'm going to do it over the weekend .

Did anyone else have this feeling then go early ? I didn't feel at all like this with DD I was calm and relaxed never felt rushed or anything about went at 40+7 .

I 'knew' DD would be early. I made the mistake of saying this to someone at work who scoffed and said first babies have a habit of getting comfortable and staying put Hmm. I was right though, she was 19 days early.

I'm expecting DC2 now and I don't have (a) any sense that the birth will be early or (b) any idea what the sex is (had a 'feeling' DD was a girl and have no such feeling this time!)

At 32ish weeks in my last pregnancy I had a ridiculous need to suddenly get everything sorted - baby clothes, nappies, maternity pads etc. 2 days later I was admitted to hospital in pre-term labour! Hung on for a week and DS was eventually born at 34+0.

I was convinced with DS1 that I would be late but was 11 days early. With DD1 I thought I would be early. I was but only 4 days and by default (had urine infection so waters broke and ended up being induced) but I was convinced from about 36 weeks she was on her way. DS3 again thought I might be early but was 1 day late.
Second time round I think your body plays tricks. You are also more aware of what the niggles feel like!
