How much weight have/did you gain in pg?

I know I shouldn't judge myself on others. Pg with 3rd boy. 31 weeks. Not put a pound on for the last 8 weeks, and only put on 9 pound so far.

Normal?

Not had scales in the house before so I can't compare to previous pregnancies.

Not had bad ms or anything.

I just weighed myself at full term and was pleased to note that I'd only put a stone on. Admittedly I was overweight before I got pregnant but I'm quite chuffed with the gain. I'm planning to get to a much more healthy weight when DD is born.

I had lost 16lbs by about 33 weeks and am a few pounds up from that now at 36w but I am no stick insect to start with so it's fine for me to lose weight in pg esp as it's my 4th.

I gained 17lbs with DD1 who was 7lb 12, 4lbs with DD2 who was 7lb 6 and lost 4lbs with DD3 who was 8lb 10, so as long as I don't gain a stone in the next few weeks I'll be fine.

Only 9lb in 31 weeks? That doesn't sound like much... This article is quite good as it shows recommended weight gain based on starting BMI

Hmm, thanks posters.

My bmi before getting of was 22 so according to the article you linked I should gain between 25-35lbs.

I was 9st7 pre pg so not under or over weight.

Might mention to mw on fri.

I was (am!)normal BMI and put on 17lb with #1 and 11 lb with #2 - both 7lb ish babies born at 39 weeks.
