Had this with DS1 and also had GD so thinking that its the GD starting to kick in but i was mortified as its a new hairdressers too!

Don't be embarassed!! That happened to me once when I wasn't pregnant (on my first day at a new job no less, eek!), as a bona fide preggo it's totally excusable. Have you had your BP checked recently as some times a low BP can cause dizziness?

Just to make you feel better, a few years back I got up to go to the loo in the middle of the night at my in-laws and fainted, whacked my head on a doorframe AND wet myself!

Had a load of tests but nothing conclusive - they think I fainted from low blood sugar and the blow to my head made me wet msyelf in shock Shock

I wasn't even pregnant.

Thanks both of you, i felt a bit dramatic as the pregnant lady next to me was a proper glowing type all calm and serene Blush

Fluffy I do tend to have low BP but the hospital havent raised it as a concern, they attributed it last time to GD and aneamia, as is generally when I get hot! I have a midwife appointment monday so I will mention it, I just felt silly sat on the floor with half cut hair and a woman stood over me Blush that will teach me haha!

Something similar happened to me (when not pregnant), in boots of all places, I fainted taking out the entire shelf of vitamns next to me, mortified I was! Don't worry, the embarrasment wears off and it becomes nothing but a funny story x

Something like this happened to me when pregnant with my . Was outside a cafe sitting in the sun went to stand up next thing I know I'm in the floor with 4 very white faced builders standing over me Blush they didn't know what to say or what to do and to make matters worse my skirt had flown up. Horribly embarrassing but as others above said a funny story these days.

When I was 34-ish weeks pg with DS I suddenly lost all vision while I was showering after a pre-work swim. I managed to stagger into the changing room and get help, ended up flat on the floor surrounded by paramedics and gym staff and was then wheeled out to the ambulance, sopping wet and just covered in a blanket, infront of a senior manager from work. Blush He told everyone so at least my nice colleague took the initiative to phone DH!
