Okay, here goes, I'm 35 + 4. Im on anti sickness tablets & am on antibiotics for a UTI.

Today though baby head feels very low, and upright. Normally sits to the right.
Tonight I feel funny down there, like my bladder is constantly open. Throbbing almost.

By the way, was wondering why you don't post on the September baby bus thread any more: you popped on and I was so pleased as you are often in my thoughts with all you have had to go through in this pregnancy. X

Glad everything is okay! Make sure you get plenty of rest

Sl1nkyMalinki · 28/08/2012 22:31

Gosh just caught up on your thread pickles. Poor you! Hope you're camped out on your sofa with biscuits and plenty of water (and cranberry juice!) feeling better. Take it steady x

Midwife99 · 29/08/2012 08:18

I hope you're better today Pickles & the antibiotics are kicking in! Definitely recommend some cranberry juice but not the stuff with sugar added - you'll get thrush & more glucose in your urine! What was the random blood sugar test result? Maybe you need a proper Glucose Tolerance Test?

Pickles77 · 29/08/2012 08:44

I don't really know midwife when I went in there was a note and a prescription. My midwife doesn't seem that concerned and just said to rest and she will see me on Tuesday.
On the plus side I am feeling slightly better, thank you Smile

That's good. Hope it all settles! Smile

Beamur · 29/08/2012 15:46

Glad you're feeling a bit reassured now.
Midwife99 things have moved on since I had my baby (only 5 years ago!) and when I had leakage the MW sat me on a large pad on the bed and then sniffed it - they had a student with them and told them this was the way to tell the difference.

I think you had a very special midwife - we've used amnistix at least as long as I've been in midwifery (1995)!! Although to be fair they're crap so perhaps her method was more reliable!!

Beamur · 30/08/2012 16:50

She was quite special to start with - being a 'he' rather than a 'she'.

Hello Pickles

hope you get better soon! sounds like you have a good doctor's surgery and midwife.. if it was me I'd have had to fight the receptionist and would be still waiting for the midwife to get back to me 3 weeks later!!

Been wondering how you are doing. Hope all is well other than the constant peeing! Wink

Pickles77 · 31/08/2012 03:50

Hello mrs wee, I'm lots better thanks and coping well.
I hope your okay xx

Glad to hear it!
I'm very busy even though I'm meant to be taking it easy. I've got a new job at work which means I have to work full time now and I've just been 'on holiday' for two weeks painting the new house! I'm knackard!
Spoke to the consultant today though and she thinks that the problems that put me in hospital a while back are better now so that's great news. She also said I'd be a great candidate for the birthing centre if I want it, also great news.

Pickles77 · 31/08/2012 14:43

That's fantastic news, but I really really really hope you are taking it easy. I don't want to hear you've been up any ladders! Smile
