5 and half weeks pregnant and very light brown discharge

Hi I'm 5 and half weeks pregnant and on sunday (yesterday) i started spotting very very lightly (barely anything) but its really worried me. It's my first baby and I hardly have anyone to talk to as I live seperated from my family and my EPAU aren't very helpful at all (they keep giving me false info) I'm really scared can anyone tell me if this is normal

Loz - if brown and no cramping don't worry but do go to doctor or A&E tomorrow to tell them. I've had a lot of light bleeding and am fine but it can indicate other things so bet to get checked out. However brown and light with no cramping is generally seen as not one to worry about.

Of course you are concerned though, it's baby no 1 and you don't know what is happening. Early scanning unit can take a peak & check it's nothing nasty.
