Hi! I am wondering if I may be pregnant for the third time. I have two DSs, one aged 8 and one 6mths. Both were very straightforward pregnancies, which is why I am confused!

Basically, DP and I had some action round about the time of OV. After about 2 days, my boobs got sore, sore nipples etc, and I feel really sick and bloated, a bit lightheaded and headachey. This is still going on, but I don't expect my period until next Sunday/Monday, although I keep whizzing to the loo as it feels like it may be starting, but nothing there. I had a tiny bit of pink when I wiped a couple of days after sex, but nothing since. I did a test today, but it's still too early, and of course it was BFN.

So, could I be getting all these symptoms so early, when it's too soon to even test? My periods have been really settled and regular (although heavy) since I had DS2, and this is driving me a bit mad!

Hi, so is your period due in a weeks time? It is possible to get some symptoms, everyone is different. I knew before my period the last two times as I cried at things I usually wouldn't be bothered by. Probably best to wait a few days then test with first wee of the day using a first response test. I always just used cheapy tests though, sometimes you can get a very faint line on those too.. Fingers crossed

I just feel really confused, as I feel my period will start any time, and I feel so grotty. I think the control freak in me doesn't want to wait, and just needs to know, dammit!

I know what you mean, you know your body best so there's a chance I guess. Let us know the result if you test soon
