Snack ideas

I'm starving on a frequent basis and getting up several times a night to eat or I can't get back to sleep. Can anyone recommend me something more nutritious than digestive biscuits and chocolate to eat, that I could prepare quickly? Have recently started crackers and cheese, and a yoghurt pot. But I'd like new ideas! For daytimes too.

I'm finding yoghurt with a tiny bit of maple syrup or something quite good for when my tummy really hurts in the night. English muffins/crumpets/pancakes also quite useful to pop in the toaster if you ever need something soft and bland. But really I'm eating far too many Hula Hoops.

Cottage cheese
Peanut butter and apple slices
Kale crisps (put kale in the oven til crispy)
Hummus and whole meal pitta

Oh and almonds! And baby bel light!

I'm finding grapes quite good but then I've been going for sweets in my unhealthy snacking.

I like rice crackers for snacky food (only 30kcal, great to settle your stomach when you feel sick).

Also fruit, yoghurt... I often have a handful or two of raisins with some macadamias too.

Oh yes, another vote for rice cakes, especially of the chocolate covered variety.

Ice lollies (although not very nutritious I suppose)

Oat cakes with cheese / Boursin

Yoghurt with berries (blueberries particularly good)

I used to keep a yohurt drink on the bedside table when I was bf dc 1.

Twiglets
Hula hoops
Easy peel satsumas
Petit filous
Yogurt and a dribble of honey
Grapes in the middle of the night

Nairns oatcakes - the cheesy type is yum - or their thin ginger biscuits.
Carrot sticks
Another vote for almonds
I have spent about £300 so far on those punnets of exotic cutted up fruit

Great ideas, thank you. Have ordered muffins and will try out the oat cakes and apple / peanut butter combo. Kale crisps sound very exciting too!

i know this sounds mad but the nights when i don't get up feeling hungary is if i eat a small bowl of porridge before i go to bed. (sometimes i add banana in or grated apple to sweeten it at the beginning so it all cooks together)
