Am sitting totally pooped in shopping mall waiting for a friend. Just bought the holy grail of annoying maternity wear though - a nice maternity jacket/coat/parka! Only €40 at H&M. Have been looking for ages so thought I'd share!

It's pretty good quality, looks really nice on (ie not frumpy), and there are drawstring ties to accentuate bump (ie so don't just look fat). Downsides - too thin to get you through the whole winter, and it's not waterproof.

Am 31 weeks and hopeful this will get me through to the end (late Oct/early Nov) and through the first month post-partum. Also got 3 stretchy tunic dresses and some more leggings (am too big for all my maternity trousers now except for 1 pair of M&P jeans) - please GOD let this be the last maternity stuff i have to buy except nursing bras and big pants for the hospital.

Anyway would recommend to all who are in need of a nice maternity jacket but don't have the budget/inclination for Isabella Oliver prices.

Sorry forgot to do the link properly www.hm.com/ie/product/99279?article=99279-A

Also got 3 huge cheapie front-opening night dresses from Primark for delivery/hospital/straight after. DH was like Shock and said he would divorce me if I wear them any longer than 2 weeks after delivery. Grin He said he would buy me nicer PJs for after baby is here, and will beg the midwives to burn these Primark tents

Just bear in mind all photos of you in the early hours and days will feature those nighties Grin
I really hate growing out of maternity clothes- just too depressing! Am also due end of Oct but can't bear to buy any more maternity clothes. Am dreaming of a wardrobe post baby already...

Ooh I love that parka, thanks for posting! I'm due in December and not looking forward to spending yet more cash on a load of maternity winter stuff. That looks like a really good buy. Smile

Looks lovely! Thanks for sharing...looks like I'm ordering a coat.

I bought Primark tent nighties with buttons down the front and promised DH that I would bin them shortly after delivery. I am still wearing them and DD is 2.

Grin emsy I wanted to wear one last night - so comfy! DH protested and made me go and put on one of his t-shirts instead - yes because that's more attractive.... a 31 week pregnant woman in a Transformers t-shirt.... Hmm

Grin My DH doesn't really complain too much about them - I am slowly weaning myself off them (helped by warmer weather) but as I'm expecting DC2 I will be buying more of them shortly! They're brilliant. I'm quite looking forward to a good rummage around Primark for undies, nightwear etc.
