Im 33 weeks pregnant, i suffer with terrible SPD/PGP.

With this condition i get a very sore pubic bone, but this morning i ve woken up with a really sore vagina, feels very sore on the inside and out.

Getting in the bath was agony and so is getting from a lying position to a sitting position. Also when i go to the toilet, wiping is also very sensitive.

Is this part of the condition or a sign the baby could come early?

I have the same. If I sit without a cushion it aches. Not nice. I hope it isn't a sign the baby could come early!

Do u have PGP too?

gardenpixies32 · 26/08/2012 11:29

I mean it is horrid!

I'm getting the same pains as well, but not been diagnosed with pgp/spd, I'm struggling to walk, sit comfortably and changing position from laying to sitting is horrendous

Could you have varicose veins in your bits? Mine are sore especially when going to the loo.

ella Varicose veins? Uh erm never thought of that, I havent actually looked now there for a while, big belly in the way! Blush

I have this too. The SPD is awful and if I've overdone it I feel incredibly swollen and bruised.
I'm only 28+5.
I had it with DS2 and he came 3 days early, not sure if it makes any difference mind.

seabuckthorn · 26/08/2012 16:35

Birthing ball helped you at all?
Sadly baths are a thing of the past for me, I can't get in or out of them!

kalidasa · 26/08/2012 17:44

I also have SPD and I think I know what you mean, a sort of painful 'engorged' feeling? I'm only 26 weeks so don't think it's to do with the baby coming. (At least I hope not!)

Hi, I'm 30 weeks and am suffering the same really sore 'bruised' feeling. Is making walking painful, so my pace has slowed to a comfortable waddle, and turning over in bed at night is also painful......I'm counting down the weeks.....but kind of hoping baby isn't coming early as the nursery is still my husbands office at present!!
