Lesser movement in pregnancy

Help! I am 21+4 pregnant and felt strong regular movements just above my pubis for the last two weeks (where there isn't much fat). Now I still feel movement but it is higher up behind my tummy button and around what used to be my waist (where there is now significantly more fat), but the movements feel slighter and less frequent. Is the fat likely to account for my feeling less? Or am I just noticing it less? I have a posterior placenta so that's not getting in the way. I'm getting worried. This is my first pregnancy.

Movement settles into patterns at about 27-28 weeks afaik. I'm 26w and, while i get lots of movement, the pattern is still pretty variable. I think it's because he still has lots of room to swim around - as he grows, he'll settle in one position and I'll be able to work out what's kicks, punches or head butts!

Little monster woke me at 5 thus morning squirming about Angry and :o

If you're worried, always call your midwife. Don't under estimate the power of your instincts!
