Tmi.... 40 + 2, 'bloody show'

I am 40 + 2 today with DS2. I have been getting period pains, back ache, cramps, braxton hicks, the lot, for the last 4 weeks. I have had 2 sweeps and have been losing my mucus plug since wednesday. I have just had the 'bloody show' though, how likely is it that I will have a baby soon?
I feel like this is my first time as I was induced followed by emergency c-section previously.

Ohh I was trying for a VBAC, I was pushed into it. Ended up in a emergency under GA.

Exciting as this is, GO TO BED. You need your sleep more than anything. Dope up on paracetomol (& a small glass of wine if that helps you sleep).

When I had blood like that I was 8cms-and up to then had felt nothing.

I am still pregnant with no other signs that baby will be here any time soon! Feeling a bit fed up, thanks for asking. I am just about to drag DP and DS1 out on a long walk to see if we can get anything moving.

No, I did text her yesterday to tell her and she said it sounds promising and to keep her updated but that's all. I'm due to see my consultant (I had an emergency c-section the 1st time) on Tuesday who should give me another sweep. I guess it's just a case of waiting. I will just have to keep in my head that I will definitely have a baby by next weekend if not this weekend!
