Hi ladies,

Just looking for a bit of reassurance as getting myself in a bit of a tizz.
I am 10 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first. This is my 4th pg as i have had 3 mcs (2 were missed) in the last 18 months. I have noticed this week that nausea is easing up, appetite is returning, i am not so tired and also i am not needing to wee so frequently. Is this normal? Has anyone else had a similar pattern. I was expecting symptoms to be going strong for another couple of weeks. I have had a scan at 6.5, 7.5 and 9.5 weeks and all good then (but i have had mcs in the past after seeing a good heartbeat).

Thanks in advance for your help

I have had 3 babies, each time my sickness symptoms started easing around 10wks - I would have 2 or 3 days where I would feel totally fine, no symptoms at all, and I would start to panic that all was not right...then the sickness would hit me again for a day or so, then disappear again for 2 or 3 days, finally going fully at 13 wks,

So don't panic - its probably the start of the sickness easing up. Good luck with your pregnancy, and enjoy!

I am going to try and enjoy the long weekend and being pregant and not wile away the days until my scan next week.

Totally normal - mine died down after 9 weeks and all was fine :)

HCG levels which are thought to cause morning sickness are at their highest between 8-10 weeks and after this most people start to feel gradually better. Best of luck xx

Does the placenta not start to take over at this point? And therefore your hormone levels ease off a bit? Sorry to hear about your mc's. I had 2 before this pg so I had / still have the same panics. Hope your ok.

Hello, I think countrykitty is right, the placenta starts to take over at 9-10 weeks so the rest of your body isn't doing as much of the hormone production. Same thing happened to me and I'm 24 weeks now. I did find my symptoms came back with a vengeance at about week 12-13 though!
