Booking appointment today...eeekk

Morning all
Have my booking appointment this afternoon, feeling really anxious and nervous! Just worrying that all will look ok etc....I can't wait to chat to a Midwife!

Ah how exciting! It's a lovely time as its the first proper appt really and you have to go through everything and it makes it all seem a bit more real only a bit though!

Hiya, yes it is my first....can you tell hehe. I'm new to it all, including the worrying!
That's what I'm hoping Flosie, that it starts to feel a bit more real. We've told hardly anyone also, so it seems like I can't speak without thinking what I'm saying at the moment! Can't wait for my scan

Ah I remember how that felt, not being able to tell anyone! Your scan will feel like ages away but then before you know it you'll be having lovely newborn cuddles

Hiya I'm quite nervous about my booking in appt to can't wait to speak to a midwife, I'm not getting booked in until I'm 11 weeks is that normal everyone said I've spoke to has said that i should be booked in about 9 weeks and have my first scan at 12weeks. this is my first baby so everything is new to me!

Oooh I had my booking in appointment today, wasn't the same hospital was it? There were about 8 of us, all lectured first then taken individually to see midwife/have bloods taken.

It depends on the area Lynzi but most booking in appointments are between 8 and 11 weeks so I don't think you have anything to worry about good luck to you ladies!
