I have been very stressed out these last few days trying to organize things for when LO arrives which has been and still is complicated. But I've been sat down at computer this morning thinking that I've not been feeling Lo move as much as normal. I'm 31 weeks today and been getting lots of pain in the pelvis area these last few days and even these pains seem to have calmed down a lot. I'm not sure what to think, has LO been moving and I've been to stressed and worried to notice or has LO just decided to have another sleep session while I'm stressing out just like it did last time.
any ideas or help would be appreciated thank you in advance

Lay on the couch with an ice cold drink or some ice cream to eat. If that doesn't get baby moving in a few mins, ring antenatal. They will ask you to come in for monitoring.

Hi, this happened to me, i went to the hospital and they monitored me for an hour.
Have you felt anything since posting this?

Londonmrss · 23/08/2012 11:12

I often don't notice movements so much when I'm really busy. My midwife advises to have a glass of coke (not diet) and sit still from a bit. If the sugar and caffeine doesn't get the baby moving in half an hour or so, go straight in to triage.

I will have to try the ice cream or cold drink but need to go shops to get some, the fresh air mite do me some good as well. not felt any movements yet, but was thinking if not felt anything on next hour to call assessment unit or walk down and see them as they not that far from me.

Please dont bother with the cold drink etc, just go and be monitered.

I'd call your local hospital and go in to get monitored. Mine only do it for 20 mins unless they notice something unusual so it doesn't take long. I've been in and out to be monitored a few times and its always been fine as I'm sure it is with you but always best to get checked out.

Please just go and get checked.

Just walk down if it's not far.

Everything went well with LO, just slower movements and not as strong as before but nothing to worry about as LO is doing well. All last night and this morning I have been having a very strong constant pain down below.
