After repeated let downs by my partner I have decided to go it alone.

I have already had a chemical pregnancy (still can't believe the disappointment) and am on stims due to ovulation problems and I just don't want to give up now. So I think I will be using a donor.

Any other single mums to be, by choice or otherwise? I thought perhaps this could be a place where we could support each other.

Hey Grin sorry to hear you're on your own too. I am also. I'm
In dc3, 31+3... Soo not too long to go now. I was only with dc3's dad for 3 months and fell pregnant. I have a dd, 11 and a ds, 5 who has severe special needs so life is far from easy but I wouldn't change my kids for the world, would obviously change my ds's illness tho Sad I am here to talk anytime. Grin x

Just want to say good luck.

I'm a single mum and soon-to-be single mum again (hopefully within the next month and a half). It has been my choice this time to do it alone although the dad will still be in the little one's life.

People go on about the disdvantages of being a lone parent. It is hard work and relentless without that support there and people can judge but I have to say in some ways I find it easier.

Hello, there's a few of us going it alone at the minute Smile we've a thread going over on parenting under lone parents if you'd like to join us. We have pregnant and non pregnant people, I've found it a great support network Smile

Lovely to hear from you all!

It's not the ideal situation, but at least we don't have the hassle of having to stress about poor male behaviour on top of everything else.

Hugs (I know people say they are unmumsnetty, but they are really) :)
