Just that really - I'm 34+3, and the way the baby is moving at the moment is in big, slow, deliberate movements. Some of them have been so hard and he's pushed so far outwards, it feels as though he's about to punch a hole through my abdominal wall and escape that way.

Just wanted to share really, has anyone else had this? It's horrible!

I had this from about 27 weeks with DD. it made me feel a bit sick sometimes, it was so weird!

She did come on her due date and out the normal route in the normal way though! Wink

sparklekitty · 22/08/2012 22:39

Omg, mine does this at 35 weeks. Today she moved a load and it actually hurt!

ItsMyLastOne · 22/08/2012 22:46

Should I mention that my DD who was like this inside, is jus the same outside! Wink

Badgerina · 22/08/2012 23:14

Mine's doing this, but upwards, under my ribs - owch!

Wow I just posted this too! I'm 35/36+3 (I've forgotten and my notes are too far away!)

I really don't like the feeling Sad

I'm 33+6 and have had this. Had a bit of let up for he last few days to be replaced by a pain like being kicked in the groin instead.

At the moment the groin thing is actually preferable so you have my sympathy.

I understand completely. My dd stretched out and poked my skin so much I would have to push her knees or elbows or feet or hands back in. I would often be in tears. Not nice.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 22/08/2012 23:45

Im 30 weeks and most of the kicks are actually painful and make me jump/tense/wince. My first pregnancy wasnt like this. Im dreading the next 10 weeks.

Yourefired · 22/08/2012 23:51

Yes I got this with DD1, kicked/ moved so hard I got bruising on the outside. Turned out she was a long baby. Still has lovely legs now. (unlike her stumpy and long suffering mother).

Thechick · 23/08/2012 09:01

I get this, feels like a braxton hick until I look down and there's a big lump on my right side. It feels like he's got his back against my belly and he's stretching out his legs as far as they will go against my back.

Thechick · 23/08/2012 09:02

Oh, I'm 27 weeks and it's been happening for a least about 3 weeks or so.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 23/08/2012 09:27

Yep I'm 33+5 and I feel like she's going to rip my bellybutton open any moment Shock she's also developed a fascination with my ribs this week, sob

rugbychick · 23/08/2012 09:31

Whilst I didn't get the pushing outwards so much, my DD wriggled so much during my pregnancy. I had to have a few repeat scans as she wouldn't keep still. She's 21 weeks old now and still a terrible fidget!

MyNameIsSuz · 23/08/2012 21:51

Ahh, it's good to know I'm not alone! It's weirdly just in this one place on my stomach - I swear if I get stretchmarks that's where they will be, just radiating out from his bum-stretching spot.

I've just posted the same on our ante-natal thread... Last night baby was wild!! It's been quiet-ish this morning (as usual...lie in after a busy night!) and in the past 5 minutes it's started again. I dont think my skin can stretch any further!!
