WLmum....accupuncture is for pregnancy & anxiety. Felt so floaty & calm afterwards & still feel very calm! Definitely worth every needle..had 13 in all!
Cad....hope your scan goes well.

WLmum · 21/11/2012 11:00

Thinking of you cad. Xx

WLmum · 21/11/2012 16:53

wifey I've not really had acupuncture but used to have regular reflexology when ttc which sure helped with the stress too. Relaxed and floaty is ace!

wifey6 · 21/11/2012 17:48

Oooo reflexology...I never thought of that. That's a good idea...thank you. Smile
Anything to continue that lovely floaty feeling!

Any news cad? Been thinking of you.

Can't remember what I last put here but I seem now to have antenatal appointments almost every day. Next week I am at the hospital on Monday, tuesday, thursday and friday! At least I know they are keeping an eye on me!

Cadmum · 22/11/2012 01:32

Scan confirmed the worst. I need to be induced. I asked to come back in the morning once I have had time to accept the sad truth.

Hanah77 · 22/11/2012 19:46

Hi
Cad really sorry to hear about you
This is my first post on this thread . Some advise needed
My brief history is that I had 3 2nd trimester miscarriages.now I am 21 weeks pregnant and quite worried . With my history I am being offered regular scans every two weeks.i had low lying placenta to start with but after 18 weeks it was not low anymore. On my anomaly scan last week she wrote it as placenta site is anterior and high.
Now for the past two days I am having uti and feeling pressure down there so today went for a scan again . In today's report she wrote placenta site anterior low.
Now I am very concerned that how can placenta come low after being high. Do you think that this is a sign of preterm labour starting.please reply with your knowledge

WLmum · 22/11/2012 21:37

Welcome hanah, sorry to hear you've had a rough time. So sorry but have no knowledge to offer. Has your mw been able to offer anything? Dr google? The only thing I know is that it's not uncommon for placentas to start off low and move, but I don't know about moving down again. I wouldn't have thought it would be a sign of preterm labour though as your placenta shouldn't move down before labour - it blocks the exit! Did the sonographer say if she's seen this before? Sorry can't be more help.

elliejjtiny · 22/11/2012 22:37

So sorry Cad. I hope your body makes lots of progress on its own before your induction.
