dead arm

I went for a nap woke up and my right arm was dead n pins n needles - ughs!! I am 18wk 5 days.

Were you on your back? I found this happened when I lay on my back for quite a long time. Have tried to stop lying on my back since then and it hasn't happened again.

It happened to me loads when I was pregnant. I asked the midwife and she said it's really common and not really anything to worry about. It stopped as soon as DD was born though.

I'm only 12 weeks but I've been having this pretty much since the start. I went on holiday at 5 weeks and pretty much all of my arms/legs got it in the plane. I've generally just assumed its normal as with all the other weird stuff happening to me!

I keep having this too. I wondered if it was linked to my anaemia, I'm wondering if it affects my circulation or something.
