Btw, I generally prefer just outside use, but have used them inside too during pregnancy. It's probably a lot cleaner and safer than DP is after a day at work!

I don't think there's much of a problem. Just don't be too, ahem, vigorous. They are are often a bit more rigid then the real thing and your cervix won't thank you if it gets rammed repeatedly .

I read something about more risk if you have placenta previa?

Oh and if waters have gone don't shove anything up there due to infection risks.

So basically, clean and gentle is the way to go .
