Why not?

ellangirl · 22/08/2012 19:52

Indeed, why wouldn't you. There are no risks to baby or you.

2blessed · 22/08/2012 19:55

Yep, had to be done Smile

SirBoobAlot · 22/08/2012 19:56

One of the best thread titles ever Grin Can't see why not, I did.

bonzo77 · 22/08/2012 20:00

ThreeWheelsGood · 22/08/2012 20:01

Yup. Wink

Nottigermum · 22/08/2012 20:02

Yes yes yes Grin

Londonmrss · 22/08/2012 20:07

Plenty!

ChuggaChuggaChooChoo · 22/08/2012 20:18

Regularly, but just on the outside not inside iyswim.

tak1ngchances · 22/08/2012 20:19

Yes, I would just make sure it was properly clean and I wouldn't be overly...vigorous

LynetteScavo · 22/08/2012 20:21

Is a vibrator really necessary?

Necessary? Does it have to be?

ThreeWheelsGood · 22/08/2012 20:26

I wondered about insertion too chugga - I presume everyone who is saying yes means internal and external??

LynetteScavo · 22/08/2012 20:28

OK...at 31 weeks I wouldn't have needed one....not that I own one. I really didn't take much at 31 weeks. Blush

Some women really need them for an orgasm? OK. I didn't know that.

I don't think you could do any harm with one, could you? I've never used one.

NeedlesandPins · 22/08/2012 20:30

Im more horny whilst pregnant and have an orgasm almost every night Blush

fridakahlo · 22/08/2012 20:33

I used one in both pregnancies , the kids are both happy and healthy.

LondonMidlandScotland · 22/08/2012 20:37

I was wondering this yesterday, and decided that it was safe, and went on to have a very fulfilling morning. Blush Grin

Nottigermum · 22/08/2012 20:38

A manual job would do, but a vibrator is just a bit more you know, more.

ItsMyLastOne · 22/08/2012 20:45

It's an absolute necessity in my book! Wink

I'm one of those women who can't climax without one, I can't imagine not using one for 9 months.

Btw, I generally prefer just outside use, but have used them inside too during pregnancy. It's probably a lot cleaner and safer than DP is after a day at work!

TerracottaPie · 22/08/2012 20:46

I don't think there's much of a problem. Just don't be too, ahem, vigorous. They are are often a bit more rigid then the real thing and your cervix won't thank you if it gets rammed repeatedly Grin.

I read something about more risk if you have placenta previa?

Oh and if waters have gone don't shove anything up there due to infection risks.

So basically, clean and gentle is the way to go Grin.

MrsPnut · 22/08/2012 20:48

Oh god I had to, OH would have been worn to a stump otherwise.

I couldn't get enough.

CaptainHetty · 22/08/2012 20:51

Yes. I used them and none of my children came out vibrating or anything :o

Seriously I'm pretty sure it's fine, just agree with Terracotta - be gentle with yourself.
