I was pregnant on our first anniversary too! Congrats :)

We simply went for a nice pre-theatre meal and saw a play we wanted to see in the West End (we're in London). We'd previously planned to pop open a (gifted) bottle of Dom Perignon at home and cook a special meal, but decided a play was a better idea since I was still suffering with morning sickness.

Hi, it was my 5th anniversary on Saturday and I booked us a table at the restaurant at the place we got married. Was lovely to sit overlooking the suite we got married in and an extra special celebration as its taken us so long to get pregnant, eventually having IVF over Easter.

It's not my anniversary, but me and my boyfriend are going away this weekend (36 weeks) to an outdoor spa for the day... he gets to sit in hottubs and saunas and I'm having a massage and we get lunch and to swim in the outdoor pool etc. I'm hoping it will be really relaxing and romantic. These places usually have loads of spots to lounge around in, the emphasis isn't on alcohol so you don't feel left out, and you can wear something comfortable (ie robe) rather than dressy. (Might have to find myself a new bikini top though as my boobs have suddenly grown (again!))

We did something similar when I was 9 weeks pregnant, exhausted and sick, and it was wonderful.

Not the cheapest option but you can often find good deals and they usually have something available specifically for pregnancy which makes you feel special!

I had my first anniversary yesterday and I'm 27 weeks. We went for a nice meal. I get tired quite easily and it was my first day back at work after being off for two weeks, do it was perfect for us.

I'll be 37 weeks for our first anniversary, we're just going for a meal. We were going to stay at our wedding night hotel but knowing my luck I'll end up going into labour and it'll be a waste of money!

I'm just interested as I'll be 39 weeks on our first wedding anniversary.Smile

I was about 24 weeks when we had our wedding anniversary.. as we were about half way through, we went away for the weekend.. but agree with the above spa days, dinner out.. all good :)

Congrats! I am 33 weeks and it was our first wedding anniversary on Sunday. We went back to the restaurant where DH proposed and it was lovely Smile

Congratulations! I gave birth to our gorgeous son on our first wedding anniversary, not quite how I imagined we'd be celebrating but very special all the same
