Not sure if this is the best place for this but I'll give it a go!

Anyone got any recommendations for a good workout DVD? I'm not usually into that kind of thing, being more of a running and cycling kind of workout girl. But theyre out for now and this 2 stone of baby weight isn't going to shift on its own so it's time to take some action!

Would like something that makes me feel I've worked, rather than stretching and slow core type stuff.

Friends of mine swear by the 30 Day Shred. I've not tried it, nor do I know who does the DVD but they're crazy about it (I'm going to do it after DS2 arrives in Sept)

30day shred is good, but how old is your baby? It's quite intense so you should proceed with caution if it is still early days. It has a lot of ab work and if you have any degree of separation then it can do more harm than good (I think).

I went to a Mum's and babies bootcamp within DS that had theadded benefit of being social as well as a workout, so you could see if there is anything like that near you.

Also don't under estimate the benefit of regular long walks with the buggy, not quite a workout but good for getting back a bit of fitness, burning calories and getting out the house.

Thanks will look that one up. DD is 10 weeks and I just feel its time to give a bit of attention to my diet and exercise now. Definitely not intending to go mad, but just want a bit of a step up from just walking with the buggy that I'm doing at the mo. I think I've actually put on weight since she arrived despite the promise of all this extra calorie burning through breastfeeding Blush!!
