acronyms??

Hi ladies
I'm new to mumsnet, and new to being pregnant, I'm around 5 weeks so early days but trying to be positive.
I've been reading some posts and the acronyms are confusing me, what is ds? What is bfp? There are lots on here and they are confusing me?!
