Hi

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and signed off work with my blood pressure. I'm at home with my one year old dd and I am just totally exhausted.

I've had good pregnancies so far but the last time I just had so much more energy. I am carrying around 1.5 stone in extra weight (i normally weigh 10 stone so not huge) and my daughter, who can't yet walk also weighs 1.5 stone. I am really struggling to get through each day. I just feel the need to sleep and i am out of breath if I even walk outside.

I was wondering if anyone had anY tip or hints to make me feel more energised, any foods or anything I can take to help.

I was wondering how the other 32 weekers are feeling and how much rest you are getting?

Should I see a doctor oR are things just harder the second time round?

TIA x

Hi snow, no advice i'm afraid just sympathy because i'm in the same boat myself, i'm 30 weeks pregnant with my second child and finding it really hard to function. i get exhausted so easily, i feel like i'm a rotten mum to my 3 year old because i can't do anything with him, the house is a tip and my husband is running around like a blue arsed fly trying to keep it all together while i lie on the sofa and moan about how ill i feel. AND i've still got 7 weeks of work left which is killing me!

i think things are harder the second time round but like you i'm wondering if there is something else like an iron deficiency, have you been checked for that recently?

Im on iron tablets yes but last time I didnt feel this bad.

It looks like "i cant be bothered" when really I am but I simply can't find the energy to do anything.

Its getting me down.

My brain says "do" but my body can't

Its so frustrating!

i know what you mean, my limbs feel like lead, sometimes i can just about move an arm or my head and that's it! it's not that bad all the time but i feel generally quite debilitated at the moment. i don't think this insane heat helps!

I am also 32 weeks and knackered but can't sleep at night! ARGH!

My DS is 6 and I'm trying so hard to keep up with him and keep him entertained but have spd so can't walk far.
