When I was of with dd1 I shamelessly signed up to every company giving away something free. Now dd2 is 19 weeks away I've been slack! What's free these days?

I signed up with cow & gate and aptamil as you get a free little teddy with each of them! Have told DS they're for him to give to the baby when it arrives xx

Asda, when you join their baby club you get a newborn starter kit, that has a pack of nappies and wipes. Everyone in the family joined when I had DS!!

Bounty Packs have a few bits in, you have to sort through two dozen bits of junk mail to find them, though. Apparently (haven't checked yet) Emma's Diary also have a coupon you can print to collect another pack which is quite good.

Boots Parenting Club is good if you shop there anyway, lots of extra points for buying baby stuff and a free bag (according to another thread on here!)

Magicfreebies.co.uk has a list of free stuff they email you every day.
Otherwise, put the word out round church/plaguegroup etc. that you don't mind second hand and you'll be inundated with stuff before you know it.

I know it is an autocorrect fail but "plaguegroup" really made me chuckle.

BikeMedalsRunningMedals · 19/08/2012 21:59

I thought plaguegroup was deliberate! In all the Emma's Diary shire, there were a couple of vouchers (last year mind) for a cloth nappy, if that floats your boat.

Sainsburys does a free newborn starter kit too, change mat, nappies, wipes and cream with a few mum samples like palmers and body wash too. Need to be a nectar card holder, worth I. That and the Asda equivalent were the best I signed up for.

Avnet gives you a free bottle to.

Plaguegroup was deliberate (I had to stop it autocorrecting to plague group). I ran one, back in the day, definitely germ factories, I spent longer cleaning equipment than chatting to parents.
