Im 16 weeks preg with first baby.

Is it normal to have a very occasional twinge in your lower abdomen? Its nowhere near as painful as say a period pain; but every now and then (once every few days) I get a slight pain. It lasts for less than a minute and I dont think about it again until the next time I get it.

Was just thinking I would post here as I had one just now when eating my lunch.

I have had this since I found out I was pg.

Im going to a midwive apt tomorrow - is it worth asking? Dont want them to think I'm nuts!

You could mention it, it wouldn't harm and put your mind at rest.

It could be ligaments stretching, I felt something similar and continue to and Im 39 weeks now.

Could be baby pressing on something too,

either way I would say it sounds normal. :)

Twinges as really normal. There's a lot of stretching and things shifting out of the way down there!
