All night and this morning I have been having a stabbing pain in my lower bump and in the pelvis area, feels like i've been hit by a hammer at times as well, its been on and off throughout but gets stronger everytime it comes back, I'm 30+3 weeks, don't recall having this pain in my last preg but that was 4 years ago now.

I have had a bit of discomfort on and off in a part off my uterus that seemed to take the 'brunt' of the last labour IFSWIM. So i would imagine its something to do with the last labours toil on your body... but i am sure someone else will be along with more relevant information soon!

thank you, I really cant remember been this uncomfortable with DS, but then I never had braxton hicks or anything like that. all i remember is going into full labour and having my 1st DC in a matter of hours. so this is all new to me.

Wow you will probably go really quick then this time! I seem to have been in slow labour for the last few days, hopefully established labour won't be the 27 hour marathon it was with jasper

It sounds like it might be your muscles stretching as baby starts to engage maybe? The pain in your pelvis could be your baby's head putting pressure on it. Or if it continues to get worse then it could possibly be the start of PGP or SPD? If you are in a lot of pain with it give your dr a call and see if he can help. If it is SPD you need to be quite careful about how you are moving about etc, for example keeping your legs together. Hope it eases off for you
