Just wondering if I should be measured at every appointment. Was measured at 26 weeks and 32 but no other time. I am 35 weeks.
Seems strange that I am not being measured as I was warned at start of pregnancy I may need growth scans as I am on the large side!

I have never been measured. Not externally, anyway. All sorts of bits were measured during the anatomical ultrasound ('m 22w), but that was it.

I am not sure that helps, but if you are being seen regularly then perhaps they aren't that concerned?

I'm 34 weeks and I have been measured at every appointment since 28wks. I am also on the large side but I know people that have been told they are measuring small and have given bith to 10lb'ers. I personally am taking i with a pinch of salt but they have to have their charts to show in the stats.

I've only been measured at my hospital appointments, not with my GP. Am 30 weeks and my fundal height was measured for the second time yesterday.

I think I have had my fundal height measured every appt since about 20wks, baby is measuring 1 week behind (i.e. I measure 34 when I am 35w) but is growing each week. It may be they are measuring at every appt due to my weight loss or because I am high risk or perhaps it's just what they do in my area.

Hi, I had my 24 week appointment with my gp recently and she said I would be measured at every appointment from 24 weeks onwards. I would certainly ask to be measured at your next appointment.
