My friends 3 yr old just launched at me for a cuddle and elbowed me in the tummy at the top of my bump. It wasn't that hard and didn't hurt. Im not bleeding or cramping and have felt movement since. Im 21 weeks atm. Will it be ok??

At 21 weeks, the baby is very well protected in its bag of fluid, so if you feel absolutely fine and baby is moving as normal, I would say no need to worry.

However if you do start to feel pain or have any other symptoms which concern you, call your midwife or the antenatal unit and discuss your concerns, and they may take you in for monitoring.

My 21 ninth old does it loads. And I have a very active baby. So I'm not worried.

If you feel any different in any way, get advice. Otherwise don't worry Smile

My DS kicks my bump really hard during nappy changes and regularly leans on it if I am sitting on the floor or in bed for support when he is standing up. I am now 33 weeks and i t has never crossed my mind to worry about it. I figure nature has it all covered.

Drink a glass of icy water and lie down on your side for 20 mins or so to feel a kick and get some reassuarnce. DS is 3 and wallops my bump on a daily basis, it will be fine:)
