28 week apt - having a moment - help me out please !

26 weeks + 4 today. Local midwives do a clinic on a Wednesday and GP reception booked me in for 5th September. I think it should be on the 29th August though which would be 28+1. Which of us is right?
Not a particularly big deal [though I need to sort out my Mat B form] - just always find this this business of being in the 27th week before I am actually 27+ confusing.

Imho it really doesn't matter, as long as you're seen? 1 week really doesn't make any difference. (Fwiw, my appointments are all over the shop, it doesn't mean I'm getting less care, just that it's not in the arbitrary place they've decided it should be)

I think at that stage you are meant to be seen every 3 weeks, that is main thing rather than exact dates. I thought the MATB1 form was supposed to be given to your employer by 25 weeks?

Tbh I don't think it matters desperately. In different health authorities the appts seem to take place in slightly different weeks anyway. In my second pg my appts all got slightly out of sync as the clinics were full, but I felt ok about it as long as I didn't skip appts or have a high risk pg.

Your MatB1 form needs to be with your employer by 25 weeks - don't wait for an appointment, get them to write it and leave it at reception. Even if you you have a very understanding employer, it's better to get it in now!

2nd time around [so you'd think I'd have the week thing sussed by now] so the appointments are far fewer. Employer doesn't seem too fussed but thought I had the apt due much sooner. Since I rang for it, I've been going back and forth on dates wondering if it was just my baby brain.
