been told by Nottingham QMC that i need to have my baby there and not at my local hospital in Lincoln due to possible complications, they say i will be in for the minimum of a week but could be longer, any help with what i should pack plz, this may mean i wont be able to have anyone visit me as all my family are in Lincoln and my DP may have to stay at home with our 4 yr DS, who will be in full time education. really scared and upset about it all with no idea of what to pack.

Phone+Phone charger, kindle, ear plugs. IPad with a few tv series downloaded. Some baby books to refresh your memory :) before you are discharged.
Lots of food and nice snacks. Cash. Phone number of local pizzeria/ocado :)

Usual baby stuff, extra pillow, dressing gown flip flops etc.

You don't say why you will be in there for so long and why it might be longer than a week - complications with baby or you?

Lots of baby sleep suits, vests and nappies!

It isn't usually recommended as some babies have sensitive skin, but I used extra-sensitive Johnson's wipes to clean his bottom.... so much easier than having to seek water/cotton wool after a c-section.

Camera, phone and charger!

Baby carseat/pram to go home in.

Several pyjamas for you and plenty of maternity pads. I bled lots after having my son.

Makeup, if you usually wear it. It helped pick me up after four days!

I second the maternity pads. Lots of pairs of comfy knickers. Your own pillow with a non white pillowcase so it doesn't get mistaken for a hospital one. Bottle of squash. Lots of change if just in case you have one of those telly things above your bed which you have to pay for.

There are problems with both of baby's kidneys and bladder, so won't know full extent of the problem until baby is born. but been prewarned that if complications are worse than first expected baby could be in for a few months just for the extra help and support it may need.
just gonna get all the baby clothes i have been given and see what items i have for the hospital, so far i know i have 3 baby hats, 2 sets of mitts, 1 blanket, 10 bibs and 1 pack of newborn nappies.
