I sound like I've taken LSD but hoping you guys will know what I mean!

Every now and then I get this (did before I was pregnant a bit too)

Seem to remember that this is possibly an indication of a blood pressure problem? Does anyone know?

Paraniod about it as sis in law was in and out of hosp in last 6 weeks of her PG with high BP (I'm 32 weeks and BP has been fine so far)

TIA

I get this occasionally too, for me it's usually an indication that I either haven't drank enough or I have a migraine on the way. If its just not drinking enough then usually after a good couple of glasses of water it goes away. If you are worried though have a chat with your midwife.

Floaters can be nothing or can be a sign something is seriously wrong such as your retina is detaching (as happened to my DB who obviously wasn't pregnant!). If it has started suddenly I would see a dr or an optician.

Floaters aren't usually anything to worry about but do get it checked out asap, it might be pre-eclampsia.

Is it like little stars of light..? I get this a lot when pregnant its different to floaters which I get anyway.. Midwife said its prob just blood pressure changing as mine happens when I sit or stand.. But if it gets really bad like zig zagging then can mean your blood pressure has gone up.

I was told floaters, so long as there aren't loads, can also be related to the extra fluid that you take on when you are pregnant.

I think they actually are fairies, although I am not medically trained.
