As above, ladies, has anyone experienced this as a sign of early pregnancy? My period was a bit stop start this month so last thurs/fri when deed was done I would have have been either CD10 or 14.

And for the past two days or so had very loose bowel movements which is very unlike me. Although I have been doing more exercise which I know helps regulate things. but this isn't regulation it's like excavation.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had some digestive upsets at around 6 weeks - loose bowel like you describe, and terrible gas pain a bit later. It might be a sign of pregnancy? In the meantime, have some live yoghurt to settle your gut!

Thanks for the reply. Always hard to know whether you're reading too much into things. Might well just be a dodgy tummy but feel ok otherwise so but strange.

I had v loose bowels two days before I tested, very odd indeed for me as am a long-time constipation sufferer. With hindsight I knew it was odd, just was in a bit of denial!

I got this. Prob around time of conception had random and inexplicable loose bowels one morning. Went away until last week (~6.5 wks) when I had a hideous 5-day long bout of diarrhea and nausea and food aversions. It's calmed down now, thank god, as for a while everything was going straight through me. Now, of course, other extreme. I've started taking some pregnancy-specific probiotics in the hope it'll settle everything down.

I always get mild diarrhoea around the time of my period.

Yes, this is my first sign of pregnancy, diarrhea around the time my period would have been due. Lasts several weeks with me unfortunately!!

Hope you get the result you want.

Yep, me too. A few days a week for a few weeks time, accompanied by some cramps, nauseous feeling and being right off food. Midwife insisted this was probably a temporary infection as constipation is more the norm. But, I'm not convinced. Also pleased to report that it went away and I didn't actually get morning sickness as all (just a little bit of nauseousness along the way and a quite a few gags when brushing teeth).
