So thirsty

37 + 4 and I am guzzling water and juice like I can't get enough!

Saw midwife last week and she said latest blood tests were all fine.

This is dc4 and I don't remember being so very thirsty with my others. I'm hot and bothered most of the time too but that's definitely normal at this stage for me.

Should I be worried?

I presume you are worried about gestational diabetes?
You say your recent blood tests were normal however was your blood glucose within normal range or on the higher edge of normal?
I guess you mentioned this to your midwife last week if it were a problem then, if not I would probably give them a call to talk it through.

The weather has also been pretty hot and sweaty, so you will need to drink much more anyway. I second getting GD checked out as a priority though.

I'm on my second pregnancy and again feel like i can't get enough to drink but my bloods too are fine. I think we forget how difficult it is to actually make a baby and that our body needs extra of different things. So long as they keep an eye on you though.

i am also very vey thirsty all the time - it's really annoying. Just keep drinking water - i was also thirsty in my other pregnancy and I was fine, no diabetes or anything.

Same here. I'm 30 wks with no.3 and sooo thirsty all the time. I don't remember feeling this thirsty with either of my previous pregnancies. I was a bit concerned for a while too thinking - gestational diabetes but reassured after my 28 wk bloods and urine test was all fine.
