baby catching c-section scar (I think)

I had an emergency c-section 3 years ago and the baby I have in there at the moment has moved down (only 8 weeks to go) and I think s/he might be catching near it when s/he moves as certain movements trigger quite a bit of pain unlike thoe normal kicking and wriggling movements which are just uncomfortable.

Is this possible do you think?

you ought to be well and truely healed and there shouldnt be anything to catch on. Probably a raw nerve ending or twinging a ligament, that can be really painful

i have 7 weeks left and baby seems to find that scar everytime! OUCH! i think it is because scar tissue doesn't stretch as easily and i think it is skin scarring rather than uterine which causes the discomfort....

If your scar is giving you twinges, you need to talk to your midwife about it, please. Any discomfort at the scar is a big concern, particularly if you're going for a VBAC, but even if you're not.
