What size maternity clothes for me? Am a 16-18, 5'11" tall.

Hello,

Just looking on ebay for maternity clothes.

I'm a 16-18 bottom normally (am only 6 weeks so am currently that!)

What size maternity trousers do you think I'll need? I only ask as last time (9 years ago) I went out and bought size 18 and they never went anywhere near me! I ended up living in non-maternity joggers, which I don't want to do this time round.

I wonder if size 16 (considering they've room to expand) would be suitable?

Any thoughts/advice gratefully accepted.

I'm a 12-14 pre-pregnancy and found size 14 practically falls off so I'd normally suggest going for the smaller size.

12-14 here too, and ended up in 12 bottoms, and 14 tops (to fit in the boobs!).

I think like with all clothes it varies from brand to brand. If you ate shopping from eBay ask for measurements of the garments. I find if I stick to the size I'd normally buy in that brand it's fine. In maternity only shops like seraphine I tend to have to size down.

As for the boobs....jeez, reckon I'll end up a size 24 the rate they're going

after much deliberatling I ordered some jeans from tall maternity store for my friend Jo tonight who has 36 inch pins! The OWNER even rang me to check the sizing and tell me the order woule be sent out tomorrow morning, how canny is that! I wouldnt expect that from the huge retailers! Will post some feedback when they arrive (jo's feedback) x
