Mad Nesting!

Day two of maternity leave and in the past day and a bit I have washed all baby clothes, cleared out DD's room, cleared out old books, descaled taps, vacuumed everywhere, done grocery shopping, made a lasagne for freezing, made a rhubarb crumble for freezing, cleaned bathroom and WC and taken junk to a charity shop.

Is anyone else an unstoppable nesting machine?

I started, but I'm feeling old and knackered now, and struggling to mobilise

Day 2 for me too and I have been very busy. The pattern seems to be...
Get up at 9ish
Watch junk on TV
Get extremely tired around 1pm
Have a 2/3 hour nap
More TV
Bedtime
This surprisingly takes up a lot of time.

Have a to do list that I could wrap around the house. Ah well.

When i was pg i was desperate for the nesting instinct to kick in as i'm a slattern not really one for housework and was looking forward to a tidy house.

My nesting instinct did come in but manifested itself in a manic baking/fudge making marathon. Sigh....

Started off like OP but now more like GardenPixie... actually at 41 weeks GardenPixie's day looks a little bit intense for me...
