Im aprox 14 weeks pg and my marriage is breaking up. I am pretty scared about everything at the moment. I do have support from my family but I would love to hear from anyone else in the same situation or anyone who can give advice on how to cope!

Hi mandaz,

I am 25 weeks pregnant and single.. result of a fling with a toyboy Blush

Have a 15 yr old daughter from my marriage which broke up when she was a baby.

Is a very difficult time to be going through a marriage break up, but just wanted to say that it is quite possible to get through it...my daughter is very well adjusted and is being very supportive for me now during this pregnancy.

Am sure you will get through it and make sure you call on the support of friends and family along the way. Mine have been a godsend.

Thanks for your reply. It all seems such a minefield with legal and housing stuff going on etc. I am very lucky to have supportive parents etc but it's still going to be hard. It's not an amicable split which doesn't help. I am trying to focus on the baby and stay positive. Thanks again. :)

I was kind of single when preg ( we broke up then got back together, then broke up again)
It's hard but you will get through it and in some ways i reckon it's less stressful doing it on your own, you can focus exclusively on the baby and not have to worry about keeping the relationship going etc
Great that you have the support of your family. Are you working too?

No, I moved away when I got married and have moved back to where my parents live since we split up. I am trying to get some temping work but its really difficult finding anything suitable. I am also looking into setting up my own business so I can work from home. Ex is being so horrid and unreasonable, I think I am better off without him in the long run but it still really hurts that he is behaving the way he is. People keep telling me that I have to be selfish and do whats right for the baby, so thats what I'm focusing on right now. Thanks again for your comments.
