Any ideas/ similar experiences what is going on - pregnancy after miscarriage???

4 weeks ago I miscarried at about 6 weeks, before that I had miscarried at about 8 weeks. This month we carried on ttc once bleeding had stopped.

I didn't have a lot of symptoms when pregnant with my 18mth old ds (apart from huge breasts!) nor with 2 mcs, but over the last week I have had really tender swollen breasts, tiredness, very strong cramps, sore nipples, the works. I was sure I was pregnant. I thought I had a very faint positive a few days but wonder now if I imagined that as today on superdrug test very definately BFN.

What is going on - could I be pregnant but ovulated later due to mc so not yet showing up. I was convinced I was pregnant, now I am just convinced I going a bit nuts! Any ideas? any similar experiences

Sorry MiggleMoo, wanted to reply but don't have much knowledge on these things. If I were you I'd do another test in 3 days and of it still says negative I'd probably say your def not pregnant.

Are your cycles regular? Mine never are and when we were ttc ds I often thought I was pregnant (same symptoms as you describe) only to find out I was actually ovulating (ovulating makes me feel like crap for some reason).

Thanks Alfie - think maybe I am just driving myself a little insane. after my DS was born I had so many problems and was convinced something was wrong inside, got checked out and found nothing but this is making me worry I was right. cycle never been the same since, agonising periods, stabbing pains down rhs on a frequent basis - probably nothing to do with one another but I feel I am running in circles in a slightly nutty manner!

:( oh no that sounds awful. Maybe it's worth another trip to the gp, you know your body the best.

I've had something similar where I thought I was pregnant with all the symptoms but wasn't. Maybe a trip to the GP or try focusing on something positive like Acupunture or reflexology?

I know when I had a mc,I still tested faint positive for about 10 days so the test may have been picking up left over hormones. I really hope u get a BFP v soon! Was about 7 wks after for me so it can happen!Good luck x

I agree could be left over hormones. After one of mine I had lots of weird symptoms like boobs swelling etc for weeks. Drove me crazy as no period either.
All v upsetting when you just want your body to reset and to be pregnant or trying again.
Things eventually calmed down- no advice I just had to wait sometimes it takes a while for your body to catch up sadly.
