I am 40 + 2, last night I had period like cramps that continued to this mor ing. Now I've got up and I'm walking around a bit it's lessened.

I also think I've had a show, (slightly pinky mucus, bit stringy sorry for tmi!).

I feel pretty well in myself bar the uncomfortable feeling and still packed DH off to work (to his disappointment!)

So, what do we think? :)

Very normal sadly. I had contractions 15 mins apart during the night, nothing during the day for 5 days. Get as much rest and sleep as you can when you can. Phone hospital, take pain killers, have baths, arrange your hospital bag, enjoy peace and quiet. It's hard because it's so frustrating, exciting and a bit eeeekGrin

Oh and the mucus plug is bigger than you'd think it would be.

One things for sure baby isn't going to stay in!

OOh exciting..I am 40+2 today and I'm desperate for something to happen..Not a sausage so far..Don't really know what i'm looking for as i've been induced twice.
Good luck and keep us posted!x

Well I'm at the yard as the vet is here for baby horse (should be interesting should anything happen!! Grin)

The cramping is now about 40 mins apart and still pretty painful.

Thanks for all the advise, it's good to get some perspective!

Stinkyminkymoo · 14/08/2012 16:48

Still contracting and uncomfortable! Grin

I think it will be either today or tomorrow. I'm bloody tired and hoping it will all be over soon.

Thanks for asking! X

I know, I know, you were all right! I'm amazed at myself but also truly knackered and trying to work out why she's crying.

Long way to go huh!! Wink
