I thought my sex drive would go downhill when pregnant but at 6 weeks I am incredibly horny. Is this normal and does it pass?

Mine was through the roof until about 15 weeks, then hardly wanted it again until after DS was here :)

No! I too was astounded to discover I was lots more sexually interested during pregnancy and not a one-off either as currently pregnant with dc2 and it is the same this time. I find it lasts my entire pregnancy.

To be honest I was grateful, I used to say to my DH that there were not many advantages to being pregnant and lots of downsides, so if being more turned on, sexually active and having stronger orgasms than usual, was one of the few plus sides I would take it as my pay-off for risking stretch marks, losing pertness of boob, not being able to tie my own shoelaces when bigger, heartburn etc etc.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Asked told DH earlier that I'd like need to have sex tonight as keep dreaming about it (not had for months as felt he didn't want to) Turns out he thought I didn't - so happy days nights for me! :)

32 weeks now and my drive is the same (maybe a bit higher) than before! Loads of women seem so go off sex but I'm glad I'm not one of them

Definitely FAR more up for it! Something to do with there being a lot more blood flow to the region....

With DD, couldn't get enough!! I even jumped DH after he'd been drinking at a wedding (& I wasn't obviously) and was a bit stinky & unappealing worse for wear & wouldn't have even got close without pg hormones playing up.

With this one, happy to go without although now I'm comfortable in the 2nd tri, I'm occassionally feeling a bit more up for it.
