Fed up of false starts!!!

After 5 hours of regular, painful contractions that ment i got no sleep last night the contractions decided to stop, again! I really hoped that 6 times would be the charm! Lol either come out or stay in but stop getting my hopes up baby!!!! Rant over!

OMG 6 times you must be furious!!! I would be jumping up and down on a trampoline if I was in your position. You are a saint for being so calm. I hope your baby comes soon x

I've been getting this a little bit now I'm 38 weeks.

Bricking myself a bit as I've no idea what it feels like for labour to start with contractions - I keep asking myself is this painful enough for it to be labour?

With DS my waters broke spontaneously at 39 weeks and the pain started after that, so I knew I defo was in labour. This time round I'm waiting for my waters to break so I'm positive, but I know that doesn't always happen at the start!

Argh, so confusing!

Exactly it's like are these Braxton hicks, are they contractions?! They don't stop with changing position/pain killers, they are rhythmical, how do I know??!!

I know the feeling!! Had a sweep yesterday and since then my body has teased me! Even before my sweep me and hubby thought that little legs was going to make her appearance on several occasions.... Obviously not!! As if us big preggers mummy's don't suffer enough with the usual complaints without repeatedly having the 'light at the end f the tunnel ' switched on an off!

Me too. I'm 38+4. I keep getting braxton hIcks with a bit of pain. Or maybe it's trapped wind (had a Chinese last night) I'm analysing each niggle and wondering if this is it! On Friday it was all quite regular too- then I changed my (rather tight) shorts and it all stopped.

Labour with dd1 started like the above and I didn't realise for a while. I'm so confused- I thought I'd know the 2nd time around!!

Start stop contractions for the last 11 days for up to 24 hours at a time very tired and frustrated! Glad I'm not the only one makes me feelore normal!
